From here you will walk in or jump on your 4-wheeler for a 1.2 mile scenic trek to your shack. If you like to bird hunt, snow shoe, hike, 4-wheel, bird watch, deer hunt, meditate, read, listen to the quietness, snowmobile, cross country ski, forage for mushrooms.... than this 40 acres is all about you and your new adventures. Once at the property there is a shack, sauna building and an outhouse. Inside the shack is a wood burning stove for heat, kitchen with an LP gas equipped stove, sleeping area and open area to hang out. Behind the shack up on the hill is where you can see for miles across the Superior National Forest. It's truly spectacular. Before you begin your 8 mile drive up the Cloquet Line, you are roughly 3 miles from Ely, MN. Oh, and BTW my cell phone worked just fine while walking the 40 acres.
